Educational attainment performs a crucial role in health by employment, income, and shaping opportunities.

Education is very important in healthcare. It leads to a productive and healthy life for the people. By the good quality of education people get the knowledge how to prevent diseases.

Relate the social determinant of health to health inequalities.

Education reduces the health inequalities by shaping the life opportunities. Short analysis

Artifact 1

In this assignment for discussing health inequalities reduced by proper education it has been chosen qualitative data, quantitative data and image (Shekhar, et al, 2021). By using these three artifacts it helps to reduce the health inequalities.

Impact on health inequalities

Figure 1: Relation of Adult education level with mortality rate of infant

(Source: https://archpublichealth.biomedcentral.com)

This graph analyzes the ratio of adult educational level and the ratio of enrollment rates with the infant mortality rate. This figure has been shown on the X axis in the years 1995-2015. And it has been shown 2 Y axes, One Y axis denotes the average mortality rate of infants per 1000 live infant births. The other Y axis has been shown the rate 0-120 to enrollment rate that include primary or secondary or tertiary enrollment and the level of the education that is below secondary, upper secondary or the tertiary. It has been shown that all education indicators rise over time. But the adult education level is below secondary education level and it decreases with the time. The mortality rate of infant’s decreases with the time which is a good sign. So it has been noticed that increased education and health status decrease the infant mortality rate in the UK.

Artifact 2 Quantitative data

According to Shekhar, et al, 2021, Covid 19 vaccine plays an important role to prevent the pandemic situation. Education is very much essential to give awareness about the covid 19 vaccine. It helps to prevent the disease. For conducting this vaccination process healthcare workers receive the first vaccination. To implement this they conducted “a cross sectional study” it helps to assess the attitude towards the covid vaccination among the health worker. For this data were collected in 2020 between 7 to 9 october (Brunori, et al, 2022). They received 3479 complete responses among 4080 responses. It showed that 36% of the participants were willing to take the vaccine. Whereas 56% of the participants were not sure about the vaccination. 8% participants had no plan to take the vaccination. Education influences the vaccination procedure. People who have high quality of education have a high willingness to take the vaccine to prevent the pandemic disease. So education is very essential for people's safety.

According to Green, et al, 2022, the link between health and education has a high role in improvement in higher education levels and better health conditions also. Tertiary education has a significant role in the improvements of the healthcare system especially related to life expectancy, enrollment rates, infant mortality and the child vaccination rates (Green, et al, 2022). The above graph represents the role of education in measuring the improvement rate of health qualities. The rate of mortality is required for an economy for the purposes of measurements of health benefits. Educational indicators have major roles in health including school life expectancy at the tertiary level. The government has a significant role in the improvements of school life expectancy through the end up of dropping out of schools. The proper education systems deliver lots of benefits to people through acquiring knowledge on preventive care, general health and enhancements of healthy behaviors. Through the campaign and promotions the government can minimize the rates of without training.

Self-narrative

In this assignment I have chosen education as a health determinant. It apply the significant influence on the various aspects of health. Education provides people the implement that the people need to fulfill their lives, education contribute people’s communities. Education access the the quality of healthcare. Help to find employment which pays live in a safe place, living wage and live non polluted environment. These all factors felt the impact on well-being. People who grow in Lower socioeconomic conditions have a high risk of health issues like mental illness, disease, and premature death. Quality of education from the early stage of life reduces these negative health outcomes. People who have higher quality of education live healthier live than people who have no education. Education help people about self-care. Less education is also linked with lower income of a family and it is related to the bad health condition. In various studies it has been shown that “lower socioeconomic situations” increase heart disease, diabetes and health problems (Haney, et al, 2022). Which is actually related to the education. So that education is associated with life expectancy, behavior of health, morbidity. The educational attainment play a significant role in health by employment, shaping opportunities, income etc.

People who have higher quality of education live healthy lives compared to people who have no or less education. Not only education provides the people upward mobility, it also helps the people have a better financial environment so that they can access good quality of health care.I think less educated people lead to poor quality of health like heart disease, diabetes, asthma and other health related problems. Because they have no knowledge about the prevention of these diseases. For this reason education is a very important part of life. It helps to get knowledge about the prevention of various diseases.

Higher quality of education is very necessary for all the people. Because it help the the people to know about the knowledge of different kind of diseases and the prevention technique. Health education helps to develop the awareness of health and provide a positive attitude towards health (Keenan, et al, 2022). The education help to teach the mental, physical, social and emotional health. High quality of education helps to improve health and also helps to reduce risky behaviors.

After discussing various articles and journals it has been shown that the role of education is very important for leading a healthy life. Higher education helps to teach the people how to lead a well-being and healthy life. Education helps to provide knowledge about different kinds of diseases and their prevention methods. Education is important in health from the school level. Education allows people to realize the risk of smoking, and alcohol. This helps to avoid illness, and death causing chronic disease like diabetes, heart disease etc. From the initial stage of life education is very essential.

Conclusion

After studying different kinds of journals and articles it has been concluded that education is a very important tool for the social determinant of health. It has been shown that lower economic area’s people has low level of education so they lead with various kind of chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease etc. Because they do not know the prevention method of these chronic diseases. However the high quality of education helps people to prevent chronic disease. By using the educational power they will know about the diseases. Education is effectively associated with the “life expectancy”, behavior of health, morbidity. The attainment of health education play a significant role in health care. Here in this assessment use three artifacts where discussion about education is related to health. The 1st artifact discusses how the infant mortality rate decreases with time. Proper education decreases the infant mortality rate. Another artifact shows a qualitative research study on the covid 19 vaccination. Higher education helps the importance of the covid 19 vaccination. So it is concluded that education is very essential for all the people. It increase the awareness about the diseases. More educated people less suffer in long term of diseases and less suffer in anxiety or depression.
